هدف البحث إلى تحديد انسب نمط لبيئة التعلم المقلوب (تدريس الأقران مقابل الاستقصائي) في إطار تفاعله مع استراتيجية التنظيم الذاتي للتعلم (البحث عن المساعدة مقابل البحث عن المعلومات)، ودراسة مدى تأثيرها في تنمية التحصيل الفوري والمرجأ، ودافعية الإنجاز، والرضا عن بيئة التعلم لدى طلاب تکنولوجيا التعليم. وقد استخدم في هذا البحث التصميم التجريبي ذي المجموعات التجريبية الأربعة، وهو امتداد للتصميم التجريبي ذي المجموعة الواحدة، واشتمل البحث على متغير مستقل وله مستويان: بيئة التعلم المقلوب (تدريس الأقران مقابل الاستقصائي)، مع استراتيجية التنظيم الذاتي للتعلم (البحث عن المساعدة مقابل البحث عن المعلومات)، و
