Abstract

The purpose of the study was to investigate the effects of wheat gluten replacing fish meal on growth performance, serum biochemistry, liver antioxidant and intestinal digestive enzyme activities of Cyprinus carpio . A total of 180 healthy Cyprinus carpio with an initial body weight of (9.16±0.03) g were selected and divided into three experimental groups, with three replicates in each group and 20 fish in each replicate. The control group (CW) was with 5% fish meal, and the experimental groups were with 50% (WA) and 100% (WB) fish meal replaced by wheat gluten. The experiment lasted for 56 d.
