Abstract
Objectives: Several genes, including interleukin-13 (IL13), MS4A2, and IL 4 receptor alpha (IL4Rα), have been shown to associate with the inflammatory process in asthma. We investigated the possible association between asthma and five single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) in the IL13, IL4Rα, and MS4A2 gene in comparison with the level of the IL-13 protein in the Saudi asthmatics and controls.
